Infused oils allow herbalists to transfer the healing properties of herbs into oils which can then be used to create salves, lotions, compresses, and more. In this workshop we will discuss 3 different methods of making infused herbal oils. There will be a demonstration on how to make infused oils and salves. All participants go home with a jar of salve made in class.

Linda Patterson, B.A. is the founder and director of Herbs and Aromatics and has over thirty years of experience working with herbs and essential oils. Her love for plants inspired her to complete an education in the sciences at Smith College to better understand plants, their functions, and the challenges they now face in their ever-changing environments. This love has led her to become a Master Gardener, attain a minor in Landscape Studies, and to study the many healing modalities of plants.
