In this warm nest of co-creation with Black, Indigenous, People of Color we connect to our embodied yoga practice in community. We are reflected in the divine and one another, bringing the fullness of our experiences to the mat and our practice.

In this all-levels yoga class, Jovan Sage (yoga instructor, heart consoler, and grief weaver) harmonizes traditional yoga āsāna and spiritual teachings with a diverse ancestry of somatic practices. Prānāyāma, dharana, dhyana and mantra are woven into the practice.

We will explore ways to move our bodies and to nourish all dynamics of our whole self. We move at the speed of breath and find rest in the pause between, this series honors the flow of prāna, finding center and allowing for what movement arises authentically from within.

My siblings of the global majority, you are welcome here in all the ways, shapes, textures and stories you arrive.
